About Us

Ikhae Fraternité Association was founded by Mina Rouatab. She saw a need to create an organization to be an advocate for women victims of domestic violence and social exclusion living in Rabat’s neighborhood Akkari. Association Fraternité is a small structure very close to its beneficiaries. Mrs. Rouatab is directly involved in all activities.

Mina’s efforts reach out to 150 women from her neighborhood through programs of legal literacy, professional training for the economic empowerment and awareness-raising on their rights and on services available for vulnerable women.

Ikhae Association Fraternité has developed strategic partnership with national and international stakeholders, including the Ministry of Education which provides classrooms for the organization of workshops. Also, to facilitate women’s full participation, Ikhae Association Fraternité has established a preschool system for the children of the beneficiaries.

Our Vision

Ikhae’s vision is to advocate for women and their empowerment, through education, training and economic empowerment.

"Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it."
